DayZ: Experimental Servers getting new update, 1.16 perhaps?

DayZ is the savage and best survival game for those who want to be a part of an apocalyptic world, swollen by the ruthless zombies who’re willing to bite everything that moves. Over the past couple of years, Bohemia Interactive made sure the game got to its best state, and amazingly enough, kept on deploying new updates at an insane pace.

The developer announced that the Experimental Servers would go down for maintenance to get another update on Thursday.

Proof for that is today’s shutdown of DayZ’s Experimental Servers to deploy a new update. While many believed its just a Christmas or other minor update, it turned out that it was not, as Bohemia Interactive has claimed it’s a General Update in the queue.

So, could this be update 1.16? If it is, this would be the fastest general update ever, shortly after the release of 1.15 on the live servers. Even if it is 1.16, the devs will need quite the playing cycle to confirm its integrity before it goes on the live servers. Nevertheless, it feels great to see Bohemia Interactive working hard and delivering.
