Pokemon Go December 28, 2021 Spotlight Hour featuring Cubchoo and Shiny Cubchoo

Trainers, the last Spotlight Hour event in Pokemon Go in 2021 is going live today, featuring Cubchoo, shiny Cubchoo, and double Catch Candy.

The last Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event for this year will take place today, Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time. During this period, Cubchoo will be appearing more often in the wild, and if you’re lucky, you might encounter a shiny Cubchoo.

Now, shiny rates do not appear to be boosted during the Spotlight Hour event, and the chance of getting a shiny Cubchoo is 1 in 500 encounters.

Niantic and Pokemon Go announced January’s 2022 Spotlight Hour events and here is what’s coming next.

Pokemon Go January 2022 Spotlight Hour Schedule

  • January 4, 2022: Solosis, and 2x Transfer Candy
  • January 11, 2022: Diglett (can be shiny), and 2x Catch Stardust
  • January 18, 2022: Plusle (can be shiny, and 2x Catch Candy
  • January 25, 2022: Minun (can be shiny, and 2x Transfer Candy

In the month of January, Pokemon Spotlight Hour will take place every Tuesday from 6 PM to 7 PM local time.
