Trainers, the Dragonspiral Descent event is underway and a new Collection Challenge is available.
The Dragonspiral Descent event is a new event introduced in Pokemon Go. This event is inspired by the Unova region’s Dragonspiral Tower. During the event players will see an increased spawn rate of Dragon-type Pokemon, different Pokemon in Raids, Druddigon, and Shiny Druddigon debut, and many shiny Pokemon in the wild, in Raids, and when completing specific Field Research tasks.
Also, a new Collection Challenge is available, and collecting/catching specific Pokemon such as Trapinch, Mareep, Vulpix, Dratini, Blitzle, etc, will get you 1,000 XP, 3,000 Stardust, Druddigon, and possible Shiny Druddigon.
There are 10 specific Pokemon that one must collect/catch during the event to collect the rewards, so without further ado, let’s take a look at what the Collection Challenge has to offer.

- Catch a Blitzle
- Catch a Darumaka
- Catch a Dragonair
- Catch a Dratini
- Catch a Mareep
- Catch a Seel
- Catch a Sneasel

- Catch a Vulpix
- Rewards: Druddigon (can be shiny), 1,000 XP, and 3,000 Stardust
The Dragonspiral Descent event runs from December 7, 2021, until December 12, 2021.
