Pokemon Go Friend Codes December 2021 Exchange Friend Codes with more than 350,000 Trainers

Trainers, making Friends in Pokemon Go is always a great option, especially when you have to complete a Make a new Friend task to receive the reward. Well, one of the tasks for the Misunderstood Mischief Research is to Make a new Friend and many players are wondering where to find a new Friend to complete the task and to get the reward.

These codes allow Trainers to add Friends, and enjoy the game together. You can also give each other Gifts, trade Pokemon and engage in battles. If you “keep in touch” with your virtual Friend, there is a heart bar that shows your level of Friendship. By keeping your relationship with your Friend, the bar goes higher and higher.

If you manage to reach a high level with your Friend, you will have many bonuses, including increased Pokemon Attack and earning more Premier Balls, but this is only if you are in Raids or battles together.

How to Add a Friend

  1. In Map View, navigate to your Trainer Profile.
  2. Tap the Friends tab at the top of the screen to open your Friend List.

If you already have friends in other Niantic apps who also play Pokémon GO, they will appear in your Friend List in Pokémon GO.
If you would like to change your Trainer Code, tap on the refresh icon to permanently reset your Trainer Code.

Adding Facebook Friends:

You can also choose to import your Facebook Friends into Pokémon GO.
  1. In Map View, navigate to your Trainer Profile.
  2. Tap the Friends tab at the top of the screen to open your Friend List.
  3. Tap Add Facebook Friends. You’ll be asked to allow Pokémon GO to import your Facebook Friend List.
  4. Once accepted, you can see a list of Suggested Friends that you are Facebook Friends with and have also chosen to import their Facebook Friends.
  5. Tap on Send Friend Request.
Note: Niantic won’t have access to a list of all your Facebook Friends. We will only have access to a Friend List consisting of Facebook Friends who are already on Pokémon GO and have also chosen to import Facebook Friends. When a Facebook Friend imports their data into Pokémon GO, your Facebook Profile name and photo will be used along with your Trainer name, so Friends can recognize your Trainer profile. You can always change your mind and remove a friend from your Friend List at any time. You can always edit your app permissions at any time within the Settings tab on Facebook. Trainers with child accounts will not be able to import Facebook Friends.

Adding Friends from your Contacts:

You can grant permission for Pokémon GO to access your device’s Contacts. Once you have synced your Contacts with Pokémon GO, you can either invite them to create a new account or add them as a Friend if their Pokémon GO account matches an email address in your Contacts.
To sync your Contacts:
  1. In Map View, navigate to your Trainer Profile.
  2. Tap the Friends tab at the top of the screen to open your Friend List.
  3. Tap Contacts to learn more. Tapping Add Friends from Contacts will prompt you to confirm your name and sync your Contacts with Pokémon GO. Note that you can change your name at any time from Niantic Profile account settings.
  4. Only 2,000 contacts are able to sync with Pokémon GO. If your Contacts list is larger than this, you may not see your entire list.
  5. Once your Contacts have synced with Pokémon GO, you can browse your contacts within Pokémon GO and either add them to your Friend List or invite them to play Pokémon GO.
    • To invite a friend to play Pokémon GO:
Tap Invite to Play and select how you would like to send an invitation (SMS or email). Note that your personal referral code will be shared along with your invitation.
    • To add a contact who already plays Pokémon GO as a Friend:
Tap Send Friend Request to send a friend request to another Trainer. Your name will be attached to your request along with your Trainer name, so Friends can recognize your Trainer profile.
Please note that, once you have synced your Contacts with Pokémon GO, any new additions to your contacts will be periodically re-synced when you start the app. You can revoke access to your Contacts at any time through your device contacts permissions settings. Synced Contacts are stored securely on our servers; additionally, contact names are not uploaded, and raw contact information is not stored. Contacts are not stored permanently in Pokémon GO and will expire if you revoke access.
If you do not want to receive Friend invites from Trainers who may have you in their Contacts, you can opt out through your Niantic Profile Settings. If you opt out, other Trainers can still send you invitations to play Pokémon GO through the above invitation methods.
Trainers with child accounts will not be able to add friends from Contacts.

How to Remove a Friend

You can remove a friend from your Friend List at any time. Once removed, any bonuses between the two of you will no longer apply. The person that you’ve unfriended will not be notified.

To remove someone from your Friend List:

  1. In Map View, navigate to your Trainer Profile.
  2. Tap the Friends tab at the top of the screen to open your Friend List.
  3. Tap on the friend that you wish to remove.
  4. At the bottom of their profile, tap the Remove Friend button.
After removing a friend, your Friendship Levels can be recovered for a limited period of time. If you re-add a friend during that time period, your Friendship Level will be restored. Keep in mind that removing a Friend in one game will remove them from other games as well.
After successfully adding your Friend, they will appear on your Friends List. On that list, you can see everything, what is the most recent Pokemon they have caught, your Friendship level, whether or not they have gifted you a gift, and more.
Link with as many Trainers as you can, because who knows, that virtual friendship can grow into a real-life friendship.
For last, those looking to add more friends, we recommend visiting PokemonGoFriends Reddit which has more than 350,000 members.
