Niantic and Pokemon Go are sending emails and a redeemable code with free items to the “most passionate users.” The codes and items are different for each player. We’re not sure what’s the reason behind this, and what does it take to be the most passionate user, but we believe these emails and codes are sent to players who spent ‘some’ amount of $ over the year.
