Should you buy Escape From Tarkov?

This first-person realistic shooter is about to engulf everyone.

Three years ago, I wrote this article with only seven reasons to buy Escape From Tarkov. Three years later, I decided to edit it, namely because of the game’s growth and swing in the gaming market and particularly genre, but also to help players realize if Escape From Tarkov is a good purchase. So, you could imagine that the article title, content, and everything else had to be changed. However, I decided to leave the old writing so that readers can see how much Escape From Tarkov grew over the past. So, should you buy Escape From Tarkov?

While at this very moment the game doesn’t represent a final product, it’s slowly heading there. Escape From Tarkov is growing and will get out of Early Access sooner than later. If you’ve reached this article, I believe you’re asking yourself if it will ever get out of Early Access, but also because you’re deeply interested in the game and unsure if it will indulge your needs.

Should you buy Escape From Tarkov?

Well, right off the bat, let me tell you that Escape From Tarkov is definitely the only game with tons of survival mechanics and the only video game product that provides gameplay that is “as-realistic-as-playable”. This is also the only game that has the most advanced gunsmith feature, which gives you the freedom to run specific weapon builds that would fit your playstyle.

The game already has plenty of content and a good incentive that will keep you put, and that is getting the last and most valuable item in the game, the Kappa Secure Container. Below you can find all 17 reasons why Escape From Tarkov is one of the best first-person shooter games out there.

Old Writing – 17/06/2017

Even if Escape From Tarkov looks like a mix of some popular shooter games, the product offers a brand new type of marvelous content. While the game is still in Alpha, the game doesn’t seem to have lots of active players. It might be Escape from Tarkov’s only downside at this moment because you cannot taste the game at its complete functionality.

Why should you buy Escape from Tarkov you ask? Let’s warm up the talk and keep the vibe ongoing, as the game’s closed beta is coming in July.

The above means that Battlestate Games will develop unique content in Escape From Tarkov. I love that the game aims to hold its robust Anti-Cheat and take it to the next level. This will get rid of the annoying hackers we meet in our everyday life.

Just a little update on the above-written bulleted list. Everything stated remains true. Battlestate Games have done an exceptional job of improving their title, both in Performance and Content. While at the time of Writing of this article the map had only a couple of active maps, that is changed. It offers more maps to Raid with friends or solo, and a couple more are scheduled to come too.

Honestly said, by the way, it will require a decent rig to run the game smoothly. Its CPU-heavy operations will most likely cause FPS issues, but it’s definitely worth trying for those with the necessary hardware.
