An expected change, to be honest. Battlestate Games has decided to remove the SNB ammo and all the offerings from the FLEA market, further banning the ammunition from being posted on the FLEA market. That ammo was way too powerful compared to some other ammo banned since the start of 0.12.12.
SNB is not the only ammo that was banned from the FLEA market. .338 Lapua Magnum TAC-X and .338 Lapua Magnum FMJ are also prohibited from the auction house. SVD lovers, I am sorry, but this would be the end of you, especially those who do not have the quest completed and unlocked the SNB ammunition for purchase.
This is what makes the 0.12.12 wipe very exciting. It gives geared people a chance of surviving, extends fights’ duration, and a chance to recover from total disaster. Further changes and corrections might be on the verge of arrival, and we wouldn’t be surprised if we see some in the coming days.
