Quest Dialogue

Come on in. As a hunter, I can tell you for sure that holding control over the target is really important. Sometimes if you manage to blind the animal, even the most dangerous one, it stops being dangerous to you. This works with humans as well. Who cares how pimped out their guns are if they’re as blind as moles? I want you to show me if you’re able to properly blind your enemy.

Objectives

  • Eliminate 2 PMCs while they are suffering from the stun effect

Rewards

  • ~50,000 Roubles
  • +7,200 XP
  • 1x NcSTAR ADO P4 Sniper 3-9×42 riflescope
  • +0.02 reputation with Jaeger

Reward Dialogue

Learned the lesson? Good. See, you can disarm an enemy in many ways.

Guide

The quest is best done by using a KS-23 shotgun with the “Zvezda” flashbang round, as it allows you to flash your opponent more effectively. But after patch 0.12.12, you cannot buy the Zvezda shells on the FLEA market. Worry not, you can still craft them at the Workbench Level 3. This is not the only way to do this quest, even though it’s considered the most effective.

You can still do it the old-fashioned way by using a Zarya or the new Model 7290 Flash Bang grenade. If you choose this option, then I’d guess you go with the slightly enhanced Model 7290 Flash Bang, because it pops half a second faster than the Zarya Stun grenade.

Keep in mind, you need to blind and eliminate your opponents while they are under the effect, not the other way around. So, make sure you don’t blind yourself.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
