Trainers, the Pokemon Go Season of Heritage Mountains of Power event brings new Timed and Field Research tasks and rewards, focusing on catching, hatching Eggs, and earning Buddy Candy.
The Pokemon Go Season of Heritage Mountains of Power runs from January 7, 2022, at 10 AM to January 13, 2022, at 8 PM local time. The Pokemon Go Mountains of Power Timed Research is a two-stage Research featuring six different tasks, Pokemon encounters such as Slugma, Ferroseed, Alolan Geodude, and their shiny forms. Also, completing the Timed Research tasks you can earn Stardust, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls as rewards.
Also, a new event-exclusive Field Research is available, and by completing the tasks you’ll earn encounters with Mawile, Alolan Geodude, and Slugma. The Field Research Pokemon encounters can be shiny, and you must complete the tasks to get them.

- Earn 2 Candies walking with your Buddy: Ferroseed (can be shiny)
- Hatch an Egg: Alolan Geodude (can be shiny)
- Rewards: Absol (can be shiny), 1,000 Stardust, and 10 Great Ball
Mountains of Power Timed Research 2/2
- Catch 6 different species of Pokemon: Chimecho (can be shiny)
- Earn 2 Candies walking with your Buddy: Onix (can be shiny)
- Hatch 2 Eggs: Beldum (can be shiny)
- Rewards: Mawile (can be shiny), 2,000 Stardust, and 10 Ultra Ball
Also, there are new event-exclusive Field Research tasks and rewards introduced as part of the Pokemon Go Mountains of Power event in January 2022.
