Lost Ark Central EU Servers Getting New 2-Hour Long Server Maintenance – Update Notes

Update #2: EU servers are up and running.

Update #1: AGS Community Manager has already stated that Amazon Games is working on community-demanding features and issues Lost Ark currently deals with:

  • EU QUEUES
  • Server transfer
  • Power Pass functionality
  • Gold Seller spammers
  • Fraud protection changes
  • Matchmaking Issues
  • Crystalline Aura functionality

Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG just announced new Lost Ark Central EU Server maintenance coming in 2 hours from the time of this writing. The maintenance period is supposed to start at 00:00 CET / 23:00 UTC and will last for approximately two hours. Judging by the recent actions by Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG, it’s evident that the EU region is still struggling and cannot find its ground.

Issues such as long queue times, Crystalline Aura and in-game Store not working, matchmaking issues are expected to be the main focus of this upcoming server maintenance. While the developer hasn’t stated any details about the maintenance, we’re expecting to see a server improvement in the coming day. Considering it will be a regular Monday, servers should naturally improve, aside from the maintenance.

Nevertheless, the launch of the EU West region has done nothing regarding the issues plaguing the EU region since its launch, and it didn’t manage to balance the player base. Hence, a character transfer option might be the next most reasonable step provided by Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG. Only under a rare occasion may players decide to start from scratch on a new server, especially after investing hours in the early stage of the game.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
