Pokemon Day is an important day for the Pokemon Community as it is marked as the birth of Pokemon Red and Green that would start the era filled with our beloved Poke Monsters.
The Pokemon Company has just announced a release of new Pokemon games called Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, meaning that we will see a brand new region and a new Pokemon Generation introduced to the public. The important announcement came at the end of the event Pokemon Presents, where many announcements were made. We know very little about the new games, other than the introduction of a new region and new Starter Pokemon. The release date will be sometime in late 2022.
The Pokemon Scarlet and Violet games will most likely have that “classic” Pokemon game style, but it will be a more polished one than the ones we have previously seen. While Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are the retro version of the games, Pokemon Legends: Arceus is the complete opposite, with repetitive battling and an open-world system.
