The most popular game in the world, Pokemon GO, will be getting new events in which Trainers can enter several competitions to test their skills and see their weaknesses.
Pokemon Championship Series is the first of its kind happening in Pokemon GO, where there will be in-person competitions, yearly World Championships, prizes, and other rewards that we are sure everybody will love. The event will be open to all Trainers above the age of digital consent and in the Senior and Masters age division. The Championship will be in a Great League format, where Trainers are limited to using only 1500CP and below.
As for participants, there will be two parts to the event. The first part is an Early Registration, where the top-ranked players will be the first to register for the upcoming events regarding the Championship. As this part ends, if there are any spots left, the registration will become available to players of any rank. The earliest registration will be open in February.
To register, you must keep in mind that there is a possibility that you can be charged at any time for participating. You must have a linked PoGO account to a Pokemon Trainer Club account, a Play! Pokemon Player ID and consent to the Play! Terms of Use.
The Regional and International Championship Top Players will later get invited to the newest 2022 Pokemon World Championship, where they will be able to battle Trainers from all over the world.
If you get first place in the Regional Championship, you will be getting a Worlds Invite and a Travel Award. If you place 2nd, you will get a Worlds Invite only, whereas third and fourth place will not be getting any rewards.
As for the International Championship, if you are on the top of the list, you will get a Worlds Invite and a Travel Award, and the same goes for second place. The third and fourth places in the International Championship will be getting a Worlds Invite only. In each event, besides these rewards, there will be prize money.
Each location will have its place, date, and requirement, and here is the list.
For the Indianapolis Regional Championships, the official beginning date is May 6th, and the end date is May 8th, 2022. The location of the event is in the Indiana Convention Center 100 South Capitol Ave Indianapolis, IN 46225.
The registration requirement for this Championship is to have a Legend Rank in Season 9 or Season 10.
The Vancouver Regional Championship will begin on May 27th and end on May 29th, 2022. The location is in Vancouver Convention Centre, 1055 Canada PI Vancouver, BC V6C 0C3 Canada. The requirements are to have a Legend Rank in Season 10.
The same requirements are needed for the Milwaukee Regional Championships that will be happening from June 17th until June 19th, 2022. The location is in Wisconsin Center 400 W Wisconsin Ave Milwaukee, WI 53203.
The North America International Championships will be held on June 24th and end on June 26th, 2022. To participate in this International Championship, you must have a Legend Rank in Season 10 and show up to the Greater Columbus Convention Center Halls C & D 400 N High St Columbus, OH 43215 USA.
As for Europe, the first Championships are in Liverpool, and to participate you must have a Legend Rank in Season 9 or 10. The Championships will begin on March 26th and end on March 27th, 2022. The location is in the Exhibition Centre Liverpool King’s Dock, Port of Liverpool, Liverpool L2 4FP, United Kingdom.
The European International Championships will be held on April 22nd and end on April 24th, 2022. You must have a Legend Rank in Season 9 or 10. The location is in Messe, Frankfurt, Hall 6, Theodor-Heuss-Allee 25, 60486 Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
The Lille Regional Championship will begin on May 21st and will end on May 22nd, 2022, and it will be located at the Lille Grand Palais 1 Boulevard Des Cites Unies 59777 Lille, France. You must have a Legend Rank in Season 10 if you wish to participate.
The Bremen Regional Championship will begin on May 28th and will end on May 29th. It will be at Messe Bremen, Hall 5 Findorffstrasse 101 28215 Bremen, Germany. If you want to participate in this Championship, you must have a Legend Rank in Season 10.
Oceania will have two Regional Championships, and they are the following.
The Perth Regional Championship will begin on May 21st and end on May 22nd and will be located at the HBF Arena Kennedya Dr, Joondalup WA 6027. You must have a Legend Rank in Season 10.
The second Championship is the Melbourne Regional Championship, and it will begin on June 11th and end on June 12th, 2022. It will be located at the St. Kilda Town Hall 99A Carlisle St, St Kilda VIC 3182. You must have a Legend Rank in Season 10 if you want to participate.
