One of the rarest Pokemon in Pokemon Go is the Transformation Pokemon, known as Ditto. This one-of-a-kind Pokemon can transform into any Pokemon discovered, and it can mimic its moveset, CP, and other features. Ditto also has a Shiny form, a form rarer than its original one.
In Pokemon Go, it is extremely hard to encounter a Ditto and a Shiny Ditto, and Niantic, the company behind the most popular mobile game, decided to make things a little bit easier for its Trainers with a list of possible Ditto disguises. Right now, the chances of encountering or getting a Ditto are close to 3%, which is very low.
Some time ago, many Trainers had some major issues with Ditto, where another Shiny Pokemon would transform into Ditto upon catching it. However, this problem is now fixed, and Trainers do not have to worry if their perfect Shiny Pokemon could turn into a Ditto.
If you happen to encounter a Shiny Pokemon that belongs on Ditto’s list of disguises, keep in mind that the Shiny Pokemon can not and will not transform into Ditto when you catch it.
As we mentioned above, Niantic releases lists of Ditto’s current disguises every month, so here is the February 2022 list of possible Ditto disguises.
