Pokemon Go Events Happening In March

Trainers, it is time to put February in the past and think about what will March bring to the Pokemon GO Community.

Starting March 1st, 2022, at 10: a.m. local time, Trainers will have the chance to greet the new Season called Season of Alola. During these few months, we will see Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew featured as the Community Day Pokemon held on March 13th, 2022. As a Research Breakthrough encounter for this month, we will have Alolan Vulpix.

Beginning on March 1st, 2022, the Pokemon that will be featured as a Five-Star Raid Boss will be Tapu Koko. This new Pokemon will get replaced by Therian Forme Tornadus beginning on March 15th, 2022, and it will stay in Five-Star Raids until March 22nd, 2022. Niantic has left the last Raid Boss as a surprise, which will be featured as a Five-Star Raid Boss from March 22nd, 2022, until April 5th, 2022.

From March 1st, 2022, until March 15th, 2022, as a Mega Raid Boss will be featured Mega Venusaur, and from March 15th, 2022, until Tuesday, March 22nd, 2022, Mega Lopunny will take the place of a Mega Raid Boss. The last Raid Boss for March will be Mega Charizard Y, and this Pokemon will be in Raids from March 22nd until April 5th, 2022.

The Raid Hours for March will be full of surprises, with Tapu Koko taking the spot on the first Raid Hour event happening on March 2nd and March 9th. The next Raid Hour event on March 16th will have Therian Forme Tornadus, and the last Raid Hour events that will be held on March 23rd and March 30th are left as a surprise.
Every Monday that March has will give Trainers a one-time-purchase-bundle with a Remote Raid Pass and other items for just one PokeCoin.

We have mentioned Raid Hour events, and the next one worth mentioning are the Spotlight Hour events. On the first Spotlight Hour event, we will have Cubone with a 2x Candy for Transferring Pokemon bonus, and on March 8th, we will have Exeggcute with 2x XP for evolving Pokemon. On March 15th, we will see Growlithe with a 2x Catch Stardust bonus, and on March 22nd, we will have Sudowoodo with 2x Catch Candy. On the last Spotlight Hour event in March, we will have Paras with a 2x Catch Candy bonus.

Other important things that will happen this month are the new visual update that will enable Trainers to see the distance from the PokeStops or Gyms, the Welcome to Alola event starting from March 1st and ending on March 9th, and the Festival of Colours event beginning on March 15th, and ending on March 20th. The last event of the month will be Lush Jungle which will begin on March 22nd and end on March 29th, 2022.
