Life has just been made easier by Niantic, who will help us stack as many PokeBalls as we can for the upcoming Pokemon GO Tour: Johto through a prep event called GO Tour Poke Ball Prep Rally.
During this event, which will begin on February 18th, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. and end on Friday 25th, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time, we will have the chance to earn a large number of Poke Balls that will come in handy for the most important event this month, Pokemon GO Tour: Johto.
However, Poke Balls aren’t the only thing that we will get. To feel the joy of the new Pokemon Legends Arceus, Trainers will see a debut of a new Pokemon known as Hisuian Voltorb. There will be some Field Research tasks or other steps that will bring us to the evolved form of Hisuian Voltorb, Hisuian Electrode, for which you will need 50 Voltorb Candy.
To maximize the number of Poke Balls, Niantic will release Timed Research tasks that will reward Poke Balls, and we will have the chance to dress up as the well-known Ball Guy. This mysterious guy is known through the Galar Pokemon League, where he hands out rare Poke Balls.
Pokemon such as Voltorb, Hisuian Voltorb, Koffing, Marill, Wailmer, Solosis, Foongus, Jigglypuff, Electrode, Amoonguss and Galarian Stunfisk will be appearing more frequently in the wild and as a bonus, we will have more Poke Balls from Gifts that our Buddies bring from PokeStops.
