Epic Games will be expanding soon, and Bandcamp will be their new addition.
In an official announcement, Bandcamp, the internet music company, has said that even though Bandcamp joins Epic Games, they still will operate the same. The famous Bandcamp Fridays will not be scraped, and users will still have total control over how they offer their music.
Partnering up with Epic Games means pushing development forward, new features and initiatives (vinyl press and live streaming services were mentioned). Bandcamp creators have been searching for a company that shares their views and values and little did they know that the company would be Epic Games.
