As the world is slowly going back to the normal that we all know and love, many projects, events and promotions are opting out for a physical event, rather than an online one.
The latest event that will shift things to in-person activities is Gamescom 2022. For people that do not want to participate in the in-person activities, the event will also have online activities. The location of Gamescom 2022 will be at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany.
Felix Falk, Managing Director of the German Games Industry Association, has said that “all gamescom fans and partners have been waiting for this for two years: gamescom is finally returning to the Cologne exhibition halls, and thus also the unique festival feeling we had all been missing so much.”
Gamescom 2022 will begin on August 24th and end on August 28th, while the Opening Night Live will be hosted on Tuesday, August 23rd.
