PSN Problem Does Not Recognize PS Plus Subscriptions

PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 were supposed to get firmware updates, but those updates caused a problem with PSN.

Shortly after the updates got announced, the PSN went down and would not get back up. This was also confirmed by the official status page of PSN, but they have stated that PS Direct and PS Video are not affected. However, soon after the announcement, many players encountered a problem with playing games online and streaming. Besides PS5 and PS4, PS3 and Vita were also affected.

On the PS4 and PS5 subreddits, many people are reporting that there is another problem with the consoles or the services, and PS Plus subscribers noted that their systems do not recognize their active subscriptions.

This was supposed to be an update without any problems, but a major one emerged that we hope the people behind the services will fix them as soon as possible so we could go back to gaming.
