Something unlikely to happen, such as a gaming company launching its own YouTube channel, has come true.
It was recently announced that Square Enix created its own YouTube channel with all of the soundtracks from the games released under their name. Not only that, but they have also released countless music tracks to YouTube Music. On Square Enix’s YouTube channel, fans can see links to the full albums. They have also said that the songs will later have videos with interviews from people who composed the soundtracks for the games.
This is a clever move that will prevent unauthorized people to make money from Square Enix’s soundtracks on platforms similar to YouTube and YouTube Music.
