Osiris came to Fortuna III to investigate the alien ruins, largely through to be terraformers by an ancient civilization known as “Progenitors”.

Helping them may unlock the secrets of the planet’s deadly storms and its exotic radiation. Or at least, it’ll unlock access to more advanced Osiris gear and medical items.

Final Rewards

  • x1 Shield

Part 1 Dialogue

Another Prospector? I guess we could use the muscle. Show me you know how to handle yourself on the surface, then we’ll talk.

Objectives

  • Hunt 1 Strider

Rewards

  • 50 FP
  • x1 Osiris SCRIP
  • x4000 Krypto Marks

Guide

Striders can be found pretty much on any named location with low to medium danger. They are red mobs and easy to distinguish. They have a low hp pool, which makes them extremely vulnerable and easy targets.

Part 2 Dialogue

Not bad. I’m always in need of samples from the surface for our research. See if you can get me some of these.

Objectives

  • Deliver 3 Waterweed Filaments

Rewards

  • 50 FP
  • x1 Osiris SCRIP
  • x4800 Krypto Marks

Guide

In the image below, the location where you can find the Waterweed Filaments is highlighted. They spawn at the northeast side of the map.

The good thing about this game is that you do not need to worry about returning the items manually. Instead, the game takes the items from your inventory by default. So even if you are not aware of your pickups, if you’ve picked a quest item, it transfers directly towards the quest.

Part 3 quest image

Part 3 Dialogue

My team has seen an increase in Strider population in the Bright Sands Swamp; take down some of those creatures and return with the right samples.

Objectives

  • Visit the Swamp on Bright Sands
  • Hunt 5 Striders in the Swamp on Bright Sands
  • Deliver 3 Spinal Bases

Rewards

  • 50 FP
  • x2 Osiris Scrip
  • x5300 Krypto Marks

Guide

The first two objectives are straightforward, and they require you to visit the Swamp on Bright Sands and hunt 5 Striders at the same location. Spinal Bases can be obtained by eliminating any creature.

Part 4 quest image

Part 4 Dialogue

Brightcaps are a marvel, one of only a handful of organisms originating from Earth to mutate into something new. Get me fresh samples, and get rid of the Blast Ticks that feast on them while you’re at it.

Objectives

  • Hunt 7 Blast Ticks (Only red ones count!)
  • Deliver 3 Brightcap Mushrooms

Rewards

  • 50 FP
  • x2 Osiris Scrip
  • x5300 Krypto Marks

Guide

Keep in mind that you need to eliminate only Red Blast Ticks. The green does not apply to this quest. As for the Brightcap Mushrooms, they can be found inside the water around the Swamp area. Check the image below to see the Red Blast Ticks Spawns.

Part 5 Dialogue

We need to run some tests on how the creatures of Fortuna III identify each other, how they tell friend from foe. These samples should advance our research.

  • Deliver Rattler Skins
  • Deliver Strider Flesh

Rewards

  • 50 FP
  • x2 Osiris Scrip
  • x5300 Krypto Marks

Guide

  • Rattler Skin can be acquired from dead Rattlers.
  • Strider Flesh can be acquired from dead Striders.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
