Time to Punch is a quest in The Cycle: Frontier. The quest is given by Vadim Tanayev – Head of Operations for Korolev on Fortuna III. It consists of 5 different parts.

General Quest Dialogue

Korolev Head Industries, the system’s individual powerhouse… and near monopoly. The megacorp came to Fortuna III early to exploit its resources, and sticks around now to make sure its claims don’t lapse. Plus, they keep the lights on up here, for a nice profit.

They want you to perform some simple tasks to prove your mettle. Don’t disappoint.

Ah, a new Prospector! Korolev Heavy Industries will always have work for you… but maybe for now we start small. Find us some Nickel Prospector!

Objectives

  • Deliver 1x Nickel

Guide

Nickel is a resource that can be mined using your pickaxe. Just bring a mineral scanner with you and scan for minerals. It’s one of the most common minerals in the game, so getting it is quite easy.

Good, good. You have seen the Striders on the surface, yes? Nasty things; show me you know how to deal with them.

  • Hunt 3 Striders

Guide

Striders can be found anywhere on the map. They’re red mobs without any armor enforcement, and very easy to eliminate.

Some of our older machinery requires replacement parts to keep working. Maybe you can find us some on the surface, save us making new ones…

  • Deliver 5 Compound Sheets
  • Deliver 1 Hydraulic Pistons

Guide

Compound sheets can be found in industrial crates, civilian lockers but also as a static spawn across the whole map.

Part 4 Dialogue

We plan to send a team down to the old Bright Sands Water Facility to salvage some special parts, but too many creatures nest there now. Go clear the area out, OK?

Objectives

  • Visit the Water Facility on Bright Sands
  • Hunt 5 Creatures at the Water Facility on Bright Sands

Guide

The quest speaks for itself. You need to go to the Water Facility on Bright Sands and kill 5 different creatures.

Objectives

We need some Circuit Boards… for a delicate matter. You need to find us some Flawed Veltecite, for the record, but don’t forget those Circuit Boards!

  • Deliver 10 Flawed Veltecite
  • Deliver 3 Circuit Boards

Guide

  • Veltecite Veins can be found around Waterfalls. A Mineral Scanner can be modded with (Veltecite Scanning Module, item purchased from Korolev faction attachments) to help find them.
  • Circuit Boards can be found in Briefcases, Luggage, and as a static spawn across technologically advanced rooms and areas (racks, decks next to PCs, chairs, etc.).
