Pokemon Go Spring into Spring Featuring New Pokemon

The ones behind Pokemon Go always give the best celebrations for special events, and this upcoming one is proof that Niantic does know how to throw a party.

Spring into Spring is the upcoming event in the most popular mobile game known as Pokemon Go, and it will begin on April 12th and end on April 18th, 2022. It is a celebration of a new real-life season every person loves, and that season is Spring.

Starting on the very first day of the event, Trainers will get the Ula’ula Island Special Research that is part of the Special Research lines to help you learn more about the islands found in Alola. Pokemon such as Pikachu wearing a flower crown, Nidoran (male), Nidoran (female), Jigglypuff, Eevee wearing a flower crown, Whismur, Buneary wearing a flower crown, Bunnelby, Chansey wearing a flower crown and Togetic wearing a flower crown will be seen in the wild more often during the event.

During those few days, Trainers will see new costumed Pokemon such as Togetic wearing a flower crown, Togekiss wearing a flower crown and Lopunny wearing a flower crown. Besides these Pokemon, one Pokemon that is important for keeping the peace of Ula’ula Island, Tapu Bulu, will be joining the Pokemon crowd.

April 16th will be marked as a Limited Research Day and will be called Limited Research day: An Egg-citing Spring Surprise, where Trainers will get limited Research tasks that will feature Exeggcute as an encounter once they are finished. All of these tasks can be obtained through a Photo Disc spin. On this day, if you evolve Exeggcute, you will get an Alolan Exeggcutor that knows Draco Meteor, and it will have 150 power in both Trainer Battles and Gyms/Raids.

As wild encounters, Pokemon such as Bulbasaur, Oddish, Paras, Bellsprout, Tangela, Chikorita, Sunkern, Treecko and Seedot will be spotted more often. If you wonder what bonuses you will have, there will be a 2x Catch XP plus other bonuses from the event (that will be disclosed below).

Spring into Spring event will have 2x Hatch Candy, ½ Hatch Distance, 2x Lucky Egg Duration and Team GO Rocket grunts will choose Shadow Whismur and Shadow Exeggcute more often to be their loyal warriors in battles.

GO Battle Day: Beginner’s Paradise will happen on April 17th, from 12:00 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. local time, and it will have a beginner-friendly Great League and Little Cup, XP from Timed Research, avatar items and more.

Pokemon that will join the 2km Egg pool will be Pichu wearing a flower crown, Igglybuff, Azurill, Munchlax, Happiny wearing a flower crown, Togepi wearing a flower crown, Exeggcute, Chingling and Riolu. Tapu Bulu will be the Pokemon featured as a five-star Raid Boss during the Spring into Spring event.

Eevee wearing a flower crown, Pikachu wearing a flower crown, Buneary wearing a flower crown and Chansey wearing a flower crown will be the newest Pokemon featured as Field Research task encounters.

As with every event, Niantic will release a new Collection Challenge, and to complete it Trainers will need to collect themed Pokemon. Once finished, you will get a contribution to your Elite Collector medal, 2,000 XP, 2,000 Stardust and a special encounter with Togetic wearing a flower crown.

Last but hopefully not least, if you are a fan of Pokemon stickers (in-game of course), there will be stickers featuring event-themed Pokemon. They can be obtained through spinning PokeStops, Gifts and from the in-game shop.
