Dying Light 2 Will Receive its First Story DLC in September

The developer of Dying Light 2, Techland, has revealed that the development of the first STORY DLC is getting out of hand. On Thursday, the developer stated that besides all the feedback, the development of the first story DLC will need more time. They also concluded that its release date has shifted to September, while the post-launch road map reveals it could arrive somewhere between September-November 2022.

In a recent image posted on Twitter, Techland revealed plenty of content queued to arrive to Dying Light 2 Stay Human. Below you can find the post-launch road map revealing each content and its approximate time of arrival.

Dear Pilgrims, your feedback always has the highest priority for us, and we want to be honest and transparent with you. We will still need a bit more time to develop the first story DLC. It is now planned to be released in September.

So far, Dying Light 2 has received a New Game+ mode, and it’s due to getting new mutations and booster events throughout this month. The game is supposed to get 5-year-long support, which translates to 5 years of fresh content and entertainment for its player base.
