Electronic Arts Introduces The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth

Electronic Arts and Capital Games will be teaming up with Middle-earth Enterprises to create, what we believe it will be, a masterpiece.

The game that will be the result of this collaboration is The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth and it will be a free-to-play collectible role-playing mobile game. The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth will be the newest addition to EA’s mobile portfolio.

The upcoming game will have immersive storytelling, turn-based combats, a new system and many new characters that belong to The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit universe. The developers have stated that the game will have the most iconic stories from the world of Tolkien.

Here is what Electronic Arts Vice President of mobile RPGs Malachi Boyle said:

“We are incredibly excited to partner with The Saul Zaentz Company and Middle-earth Enterprises on the next generation of mobile role-playing games. The team is filled with fans of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, and each day they bring their tremendous passion and talents together to deliver an authentic experience for players. The combination of high-fidelity graphics, cinematic animations, and stylized art immerses players in the fantasy of Middle-earth where they’ll go head-to-head with their favorite characters.”
