Diablo Immortal is Live on Mobile Phones Earlier Than Expected

June 1st brings a surprise launch of Diablo Immortal.

Diablo Immortal, Blizzard’s free-to-play video game in the Diablo series, is now available thanks to an early surprise launch. Initially developed for Mobile Phones, then confirmed for PC, the game was supposed to launch on both platforms on June 2, 2022. On Wednesday, June 1, it turns out that Blizzard decided to force the game out on the Mobile platform, while the PC players will have to wait one day longer.

While the mobile platform can go deeper into the story and allow players to strengthen their characters, PC players are left only with the option to pre-load, which became active two days ago. For those unfamiliar with Diablo Immortal, the massively multiplayer online action role-playing game takes place between Diablo II and Diablo III events.

*PC launch is supposed to undergo at 10 AM PT tomorrow.

Weirdly enough, not everyone can experience the game, and players have been addressing their concerns on official social platforms. The initial launch could be tied to a particular region, such as the US, while others will have to wait a tiny bit longer. Expectedly, this could be due to the fears of server-clog and natural prevention of such activity.

Diablo Immortal will include Microtransactions, despite its rough controversy, allowing players to empower their character by using real money. This is the exact reason residents of the Netherlands and Belgium won’t be able to experience this game due to its severe gambling law disagreeing with the idea of loot boxes in video games.
