Pokemon Go June 2022 Deino Community Day Bonus Announcement Unclear, Players are Confused

Update: Trainers, it looks like the in-game announcement is incorrect and you do not need 10 Trainers to trigger the Deino spawns. That said, the correct info is the one on the official site the Raid activation will take one player, it will last 30 minutes, and will have a 300 meter-radius.

Trainers, the next Community Day event in Pokemon Go is going live on June 25, 2022, from 11 AM to 2 PM local time, featuring Deino, its shiny forms, new attack, event bonuses, bonuses for groups, a Special Research story, new avatar item, bonus Raid Battles, four-star Raids, and a bonus for completing four-star Raid Battles. Now, here comes the confusing part.

Niantic and Pokemon Go announced all the features and bonuses on their official site and they also made an in-game announcement about the bonus for completing four-star Raids. They shared different information about the bonus and players are getting confused.

Here is what the blog post says:

Once you defeat Zweilous in a four-star Raid Battle, Deino will begin to appear in a 300-meter radius around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes. If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!

and here is the in-game announcement:

From 2 PM to 7 PM local time, if 10 Trainers join an in-person Raid Battle, they’ll be able to encounter a large number of Deino within 200 meters of the Gym for 30 minutes. Lucky Trainers might even encounter a Shiny one!”

As you can see, there are different requirements for the same bonus. The blog post says a 300-meter radius, while the in-game announcement says a 200-meter radius. The blog post says nothing about in-person Raid Battles, while the in-game announcement says you need 10 Trainers to join an in-person Raid Battle to trigger the event spawns.

Hopefully, the 10 Trainers in-person Raid Battle requirement is incorrect.
