Trainers, the Ultra Unlock Research Day event has started in Pokemon Go and you can now complete new Field Research tasks to encounter Cranidos and Shieldon.
The Pokemon Go Ultra Unlock Research Day is a limited-time event that starts on June 12, 2022, at 11 AM, and ends on the same day at 3 PM local time. During this period you will have a chance to complete different Field Research tasks and encounter Cranidos and Shieldon. Please have in mind that both Pokemon can be encountered shiny.

- Catch 5 Pokemon with Weather Boost

- Make 3 Great Throws
- Make 3 Nice Throws in a row
- Make 5 Curveball Throws
- Make 5 Nice Throws
- Power up Pokemon 3 times
- Send two Gifts and add a sticker to each
- Spin 2 PokeStops or Gyms
- Take a snapshot of wild Rock-type Pokemon
- Use 3 berries to help catch Pokemon
- Use a Supereffective Charged Attack
- Rewards: Cranidos (can be shiny) and Shieldon (can be shiny)
