Apex Legends Gaiden Event launches on July 19

It's time for new limited-time cosmetics.

The Battle Royale sensation developed by Respawn Entertainment, Apex Legends, is due to getting a brand new in-game event. The event is called Gaiden and will launch on July 19. This event will introduce a bunch of new limited-time cosmetics, including a prestige skin for Bangalore called Apex Commander.

Prepare your pellets and sharpen your sniping skills because Armed and Dangerous, the limited-time mode, makes a return. In this game, players will have the opportunity to test their skills by playing shotguns and snipers only. Furthermore, this event will get two unique weekly challenge tracks. Each of them will offer different rewards. More about them can be found below.

Apex Legends Gaiden Event Details

July 19th to July 26th

  • Rewards include:
    • Fuse’s Down Thunder Epic Skin
    • Bionic Buddy Gun Charm
    • Epic 3030 “Cloudburst” Skin

July 26th to August 2nd

  • Rewards include:
    • OK Holospray
    • 1 Gaiden Event Pack
    • 1 Apex Pack
  • Gaiden Event Packs are available for a limited time during the Gaiden Event, but the items will be available in the standard Apex Pack pool of items after the event ends.
  • Gaiden Event Packs guarantee you one non-duplicate Gaiden Event item.
  • The new event will introduce 40 new cosmetic items around the Gaiden theme.
  • Gaiden items can be crafted with crafting metals. After two seasons, crafting metal costs of Gaiden Items may be reduced.
  • To preview/view what the new items are, players can go to the thematic event tab in-game.
