Every year the public has access to a list from License Global that shows which brands have made it to the top, and the company that is loved among humans, The Pokemon Company, has stepped up a few places.
The Top Global Licensors Report is solely made to rank how a particular brand has performed during the fiscal year 2021, what strategies it used, with who the brand collaborated, and most importantly, the financial growth. And after looking at the list, it is safe to say that it has been a quite successful pandemic fiscal year for business.
What is important to most of us from the list is that fifth place. The fifth place belongs to The Pokemon Company, positive growth from last year when The Pokemon Company was eighth on The Top Global Licensors Report.
The retail sales in 2021 for The Pokemon Company have reached $8.5B, as opposed to the number they had for 2020, which was $5.1B. Their successful collaborations with other brands and the celebration of 25 years of Pokemon across every game, app, Pokemon TCG, animation and merchandise associated with The Pokemon Company, have brought the firm to fifth place on The Top Global Licensors Report list.
Tech gear, home decorations, toys, clothes, and accessories have also played their part in the successful fiscal year 2021 for The Pokemon Company.
