Escape From Tarkov Steyr AUG sound and animation revealed

On Thursday, Battlestate Games finally revealed the Steyr AUG in action, an upcoming bullpup weapon coming to the realistic first-person shooter, Escape From Tarkov. While its animations and sound are not finalized, the Steyr AUG was showcased during today’s Livestream. The Steyr AUG uses 5.56×45mm NATO ammo, and it’s hard to say it will break the current Escape From Tarkov meta.

The weapon will arrive with an in-built 1.5x optic, one of the positive characteristics that will allow players to engage in fights at slightly larger distances without investing in additional equipment and gun modifications. The video below shows that the AUG already has the scope in its default form. Knowing Battlestate Games and Escape From Tarkov’s advanced gunsmith, the customization of this weapon will likely expand and allow players to install their favorite optics on it.

Previously, this particular assault rifle was teased in a tweet. Will this Austrian-originating weapon cause mayhem on the Streets of Tarkov, or will it be just another miss like the G36? Time will tell. Stay tuned for more information!

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
