Pokemon Go August 2022 Field Research Tasks and Rewards

Trainers, August 2022 has started and new Field Research tasks and rewards are now available in Pokemon Go.

Each month Pokemon Go players have a chance to complete different Field Research tasks to earn cool rewards and collect seven stamps for the Research Breakthrough encounter. By collecting the seven stamps in August 2022, players will have a chance to encounter Galarian Stunfisk as the Research Breakthrough encounter. Galarian Stunfisk can be shiny.

In August 2022, you can encounter different shiny Pokemon when completing specific tasks, so let’s take a look at all tasks and rewards below.

• Catch 10 Fire-type Pokemon: 10 Mega Charizard Energy
• Catch 10 Grass-type Pokemon: 10 Mega Venusaur Energy
• Catch 10 Normal-type Pokemon: 10 Mega Pidgeot Energy
• Catch 10 Water-type Pokemon: 10 Mega Blastoise Energy
• Catch 5 different species of Pokemon: Omanyte (can be shiny)
