The Cycle Frontier Season 2 arrives on September 28, details and more

Season 2 trailer and more details have just dropped

Yager, the developer behind the extraction-based looter-shooter The Cycle: Frontier, is happy to announce the arrival of a brand new major expansion that is coming with the release of Season 2. The Cycle Frontier’s Season 2 is scheduled for September 28 and will deploy with a new map, mysterious end-game mechanic, and more loot and items for all the bounty hunters.

Just a little rewind, Season 1 in The Cycle Frontier is still ongoing and will slowly cripple away with The Cataclysm event. Once the transition to Season 2 arrives, all of the real money acquisitions made by prospectors will remain in their possessions. Cosmetics and additional in-game purchases will be carried over and won’t be impacted by the wipe.

The Cycle: Frontier Season 2 Details

Tharis Island will be a new map that will include a new and exciting end-game mechanic, where players can explore new landscapes and walk through the deepest caves filled with treacheries and horrors. Oh yes, let’s not forget the new and scary AI, a form of more advanced Jeffs on their way. Within its deepest underpasses, there will also be a mysterious alien root, leftovers that promise a much better life to Fortuna III.

Prospecting on this new map will be a lot more exciting, so as the opportunity to claim the most valuable items and get from rags to riches in no time. With the addition of the new map, we believe that there will be new quests just to make things spicier. Do you have what it takes to settle on a new journey within Fortuna III?
