Cyberpunk 2077 gets back in control, grasps million players every day

Night City shines once again.

CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 seems to be back on track. After the last updates, the developer has evidently done a very good job, intriguing players to come back to this gem and experience its beauty. Thanks to physics updates and other ground-breaking bugs removed, 1 million players per day are patroling Night City.

As per the official Twitter profile of Cyberpunk 2077, both new and returning players have experienced various activities in Night City.

Each day of this week Night City has been visited by 1 million players, both new and returning. We wanted to use this opportunity to thank you for being with us and playing the game.” – said CD Projekt Red on Twitter.

These numbers have to be bolstered by the announcement of a new expansion, the release of the Cyberpunk: Endgame anime, and of course the latest update that fixed plenty of flaws within the game. Over at the official Steam stats, the concurrent player number peek reaches above 86,000 for days now. Therefore, the 1 million mark most likely includes players from different platforms, such as PS4, PS5, XBOX S and X, and Xbox One.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
