Pokemon Go Celesteela and Kartana are Regional Exclusives, But Why?

Trainers, Niantic and Pokemon Go released two new Ultra Beasts in the game and it turns out these Ultra Beasts, Celesteela and Kartana, are regional exclusives.
Celesteela and Kartana are now appearing in Raids and will be available to battle and catch until September 27, 2022. Both Pokemon are the new five-star Raid Bosses, but unfortunately, not everyone can get them. Why is that, you may ask? Well, it turns out Niantic and Pokemon Go decided to make them regional Raid Bosses, with Celesteela appearing in the Southern Hemisphere, and Kartana appearing in the Northern Hemisphere.
So why they made Celesteela and Kartana regional? If you pay attention to the main series, you will notice that these Pokemon are version exclusives for Sun and Moon, so most likely they go along with that. The other answer is that Niantic wants players to remote raid and are forcing players to get/purchase more remote passes.
Hopefully, they will rotate from the respective hemisphere at some point and all players will have a chance to catch both Celesteela and Kartana. Fingers crossed that they will not remain regional exclusives.
Niantic and Pokemon Go encourage in-person raiding, but by releasing regional Ultra Beasts in Raids it seems like they want to profit through remote raiding.
What are your thoughts about this? Do you agree with them making Celesteela and Kartana regional exclusives? We would like to hear your opinion, so please make sure to leave a comment below.
Do I like regional thing? F*KING H*LL NO! Why can’t we actually go and catch them all from our own local areas NOOOOO You have to go New York to capture this bull or to Tokio to find bird… Regional raids…. First those lake trio and now these 2…. FU NIANTIC REALLY!
So…10% of the world population can access celesteela. That sounds really stupid.
