Trainers, Niantic and Pokemon Go announced that players will have the opportunity to encounter additional Cosmog in the distant future.
The Legendary Pokemon Cosmog made its Pokemon Go debut at the start of the Season of Light. Cosmog is available only via Special Research and players must complete step 1 of the season-long Special Research A Cosmic Companion.
Cosmog cannot be shiny, but players will have a chance to evolve Cosmog into Cosmoem by using 25 Cosmog Candy starting October 5, 2022.
Now, as we said above, players can get Cosmog only after completing the first step of the A Cosmic Companion Special Research. According to a recent blog post on the official Pokemon Go website, players will get a chance to encounter more Cosmog in the distant future. We are not sure what “distant future” is and how long we have to wait to get more Cosmog, but we hope it means in the next two-three months.
For last, Cosmoem, Cosmog’s evolution, will make its Pokemon Go debut during the Evolving Stars event in October 2022.
