Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Closed Beta Test Starts on October 14

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, the new shooter game developed by Fatshark, is getting a closed beta period before its release clashes. On Tuesday, the developer announced that the first closed beta session will occur on October 14, and will last until October 16 through both Steam and Microsoft Store.

Over on the official website, the developer shared more information, revealing that the closed beta will require a player sign-up. So if you’re interested in participating in this Closed Beta, then make sure you see the official signup instructions below:

  • To ensure a smoother experience at launch, we are now opening sign-ups for future Warhammer 40,000: Darktide tests.
  • After signing up you will receive an email asking for more specific information (e.g. platform, region, hardware specs for PC).
  • In order to be eligible to test, you will need to complete that process fully.

As per the official press release:

Best start clearing your calendar on the 14th -16th of October! We’re opening the gates of Tertium for a Closed Beta Test on PC (Steam and Microsoft Store). So, if you haven’t already – go to our sign-up page, fill out the form and you’ll get the chance to join in on the carnage.

If you’ve already filled out the form we sent out last month, you don’t need to do anything else. We’ll notify you and deliver download instructions when we get closer to the date. For more information, read the FAQ.
