Best way to level up Weapons in Modern Warfare 2

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has been released in New Zealand, and the rest of the world is slowly getting its hands on it. With that said, it’s time to delve into the core features of this beautiful shooter. As always, one of the most important ones is the Weapon XP which is a hard grind, just as in each Call of Duty title.

In Modern Warfare 2, like any other predecessor, weapons and their respective mastery are being upgraded by getting kills on the battlefield. The higher the level, the better the camos, rewards, and attachments. Being already able to experience this in real life, we can speak of the most valuable game mode that will allow you to get there faster.

How to fast-level weapons in MW2?

Considering that kills contribute towards weapon experience, the fastest way to level up would be queueing for the Large scale battles. Considering that one of the Game Modes (Invasion) supports AI, this would largely contribute to your weapon mastery advancement.

With that said, the best way to level up your weapons is by playing Ground War Invasion, which is a massive chaotic battle, including a mix of human players and AI fighting against each other. It’s a relatively short queue and lasts longer than the ordinary multiplayer (6v6) game modes.

By following this guide, you should be able to unlock the Gold, Platinum, Polyatomic, and Orion skins a lot faster. Completing all four would get you something extra. In this way, you will also get the upper hand and tune your weapons for an enhanced recoil and match performance.

This should also help you tackle some of the hefty challenges later, which can be quite demanding.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
