Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 PC System Requirements Revealed

The time to realize whether or not your PC will be able to endure the power of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has finally come. Today, the developer Infinity Ward has revealed the minimum and recommended PC system requirements, and it appears that mid-range gaming rigs will be able to run the game just fine.

The minimal CPU needed to run the game is an Intel Core i3 6100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 with at least 8GB of ram. For the visuals, these users must have at least GTX 960 or AMD Radeon RX 470. With a game size of around 72GB, players should be aware and clean up their hard drives if they do not have a place for settling the game files.

As for the recommended specs, those who seek higher FPS and high-fidelity graphics will have to possess at least an Intel Core i9 9900K or AMD Ryzen 9 3900X accompanied by at least 16GB of RAM. As for the graphic component for a smoother gameplay experience, RTX 3080 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT is mandatory.

There’s nothing more important than running a shooter game at high FPS rather than embracing high-fidelity graphics. These users will have the ability to run the game.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is coming out on October 28, with pre-orders able to jump one week earlier and experience its single-player campaign.

After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. My mission is to lurk and discover secrets, create guides and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, patch notes too. I mostly play FPS and love experimenting in good MMORPGs.
