Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot – Next-Gen Release Date Trailer, Upgrade and more

Bandai Namco has revealed the next-gen release date trailer for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. With enhanced graphics and 60 fps, players will get the opportunity to relive the Dragon Ball Z saga like never before. DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on January 13, 2023.

The official next-gen release date trailer can be found at the top of this article. According to the official data posted by Bandai Namco, Players will get the opportunity to upgrade the game and transfer data for free, with more details just below.

Upgrade

If you have already purchased “DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT” for PS4™/Xbox One, you can upgrade to the PS5™/Xbox Series X|S of “Dragon Ball Z: KAKAROT.”

  • Upgrade from PS4™ to PS5™Â 

If you have already purchased the PS4™ version of “Dragon Ball Z: KAKAROT”, you can upgrade for free. Upgrades are free for both the main game and DLC. Details on the upgrade procedure will be announced on the official website at a later date.

  • Upgrading from Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S 

If you have already purchased the Xbox One version of “Dragon Ball Z: KAKAROT”, you can get the Xbox Series X|S version through Smart Delivery.

Transfer of games

The save data created on PS4™/Xbox One can be transferred to the PS5™/Xbox Series X|S version.

  • Notes on transferring data 

In order to transfer saved data created in the PS4™ version of “DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT” to the PS5 version, you will need to upgrade the main game and all downloadable contents you have in the PS4 version to transfer the saved data from the PS4 version to the PS5 version.

If you wish to transfer your saved data from the PS4™ version, please upgrade the main game and downloadable content first. Detailed instructions for the transfer will be announced on the official website at a later date.
