Escape From Tarkov is getting a new technical update on October 12

BSG is back!

Update: Patch Notes for update 0.12.12.32 revealed.

The developers of Escape From Tarkov have finally spoken. After a long time without any particular event or game update, Battlestate Games has announced that a new technical update will be installed tomorrow morning. While its contents remain unknown, the server downtime will take approximately 3 hours, which could be alluding to something big.

The server maintenance will start tomorrow at 8 AM BST / 3 AM EDT. The update is classified as 0.12.12.32. The installation of the update will take approximately 3 hours and may be extended. It’s likely to take more than 3 hours, considering the outcome of the previous major updates.

So, what’s due exactly? There are still unfinished goals set for this wipe cycle. One of them is the inclusion of the in-game trader, Lightkeeper, which may take place tomorrow. Other than that, with the massive influx of cheaters recently, there could be some anti-cheat update that may patch some holes that allowed third-party unauthorized software to ruin the gameplay experience for others.

As for the patch notes, we’ll post them below once they’re revealed.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
