Trainers, the Halloween Timed Research is a new four-step pay-to-play Research introduced in Pokemon Go as part of the Halloween 2022 event.
The Halloween 2022 event features two pay-to-play Timed Research, the Yamask Timed Research, and the Halloween Timed Research. To access each of the Timed Research quests, you must a get ticket, $1, or $5.
Each Timed Research has different tasks, rewards, and Pokemon encounters, so we suggest seeing the ones for the Halloween Timed Research.

Halloween Timed Research Step 1/4
- Walk 2km: Spinarak
- Catch 10 Pokemon: Joltik
- Catch 7 Ghost-type Pokemon: Dewpider
- Rewards: Ariados, and 1 Incense
Halloween Timed Research Step 2/4
- Walk 2km: Zubat
- Transfer 10 Pokemon: Woobat
- Catch 10 Ghost-type Pokemon: Gligar
- Rewards: Golbat, and 1 Egg Incubator
Halloween Timed Research Step 3/4
- Walk 2km: Purrloin
- Send 7 Gifts to friends: Litten
- Catch 10 Ghost-type Pokemon: Sneasel
- Rewards: Umbreon, and 1 Egg Incubator
Halloween Timed Research Step 4/4
- Hatch an Egg: Yamask
- Make 9 Curveball Throws: Duskull
- Catch 13 Ghost-type Pokemon: Galarian Yamask
- Rewards: Spiritomb (can be shiny), and 1 Lantern Pose
