Niantic and Pokemon Go announced that players can get 5 additional Raid Passes during the Mega Gyarados Raid Day. Now, normally, you would get only one free Daily Raid Pass, but due to a Season of Light bonus, you can now get two Daily Raid Passes (this bonus lasts until the end of the Season of Light).
That means that we now have seven free Daily Raid Passes – but what about the eight free Daily Raid Pass? Well, you can store one free Daily Raid Pass from the previous day, which makes it a total of eight free Daily Raid Passes during the Mega Gyarados Raid Day.
For last, the expected shiny rate for this event is roughly 1 in 10.
