Pokemon Go Mega Gyarados Raid Day Best Counters, Get Up to 8 Raid Passes

Trainers, the next Raid Day in Pokemon Go goes live on October 8, 2022, from 2-5 PM local time, and during this period you will have a chance to battle Mega Gyarados in Mega Raids. Niantic and Pokemon Go also announced that players can receive up to five additional Raid Passes by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms, but according to reports, you can get up to eight Raid Passes.

The Mega Gyarados Raid Day is a limited-time event that starts on October 8, 2022, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time. During this period Mega Gyarados will appear more frequently in Raids with an increased chance of encountering Shiny Gyarados. Players can also get up to five additional Raid Passes, but you can get eight free Raid Passes for Mega Gyarados Raid Day.

Mega Gyarados Raid Day Extra Raid Passes

Niantic and Pokemon Go announced that players can get 5 additional Raid Passes during the Mega Gyarados Raid Day. Now, normally, you would get only one free Daily Raid Pass, but due to a Season of Light bonus, you can now get two Daily Raid Passes (this bonus lasts until the end of the Season of Light).

That means that we now have seven free Daily Raid Passes – but what about the eight free Daily Raid Pass? Well, you can store one free Daily Raid Pass from the previous day, which makes it a total of eight free Daily Raid Passes during the Mega Gyarados Raid Day.

For last, the expected shiny rate for this event is roughly 1 in 10.
