Trainers, the next event in Pokemon Go starts this Wednesday, featuring a new Pokemon debut, a lot of shiny forms available to catch in the wild and Raids, shiny Mega Gyarados Raid Day, and new Field Research and Evolving Collection tasks. Oh, and I forgot to mention, a new part of the Season-long Special Research will unlock during the Evolving Stars event.
The Pokemon Go Evolving Stars event is a new event introduced in Pokemon Go. The event starts on October 5, 2022, and ends on October 11, 2022. During this period, players have a chance to evolve Cosmog into Cosmoem by using 25 Cosmog Candy, encounter different Pokemon in the wild, battle different Raid Bosses, get and complete part four of the A Cosmic Companion Special Research, participate in the Mega Gyarados Raid Day, complete new Field Research tasks, and catch shiny Pokemon.

Shiny Pokemon Evolving Stars Pokemon Go
- Mega Gyarados to have increased shiny chance during the Raid Day on October 8, 2022, from 2-5 PM local time
- Shiny Rhyhorn, Shiny Scyther, Shiny Eevee, Shiny Swinub, Shiny, Ralts, and Shiny Duskull as wild encounters
- Shiny Slowpoke, Shiny Onix, Shiny Scyther, Shiny Porygon, and Shiny Sunkern in one-star Raids
- Shiny Togetic in three-star Raids
- Shiny Xerneas, and Shiny Yveltal in five-star Raids. Xerneas will appear in raids from Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Yveltal will appear in raids from Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time
- Shiny Mega Manectric, and Shiny Mega Lopunny in Mega Raids. Mega Manectric will appear in raids from Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Mega Lopunny will appear in raids from Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time
