Pokemon Go to Add Video Ads

Trainers, according to a recent datamine, we have discovered that Niantic and Pokemon Go might be adding video ads in the game. Well, depending on which side you are looking at, this might turn out to be great, but it might turn into an absolute disaster.

The recent datamine shows many, many fun and interesting things that might be added to the game, however, something that caught the eye of many fans of Pokemon Go was the play button at the down-right side of the picture. And many are wondering, what can that play button mean? Is it ads, or is it videos that might bring you coins?

Some players say that if Niantic dares to add video ads, and if they happen to be unskippable, then they will be leaving Pokemon Go forever. Other players have positive hope that it might be video ads, but the ones that give rewards at the very end, and in our case, PokeCoins, the most valuable thing in the game. Others say that “this would be easier than adding a Pokemon into a gym”, and that “if they do add video ads, I hope they are for coins”.

We have some mixed feelings about that disastrous play button, but we do hope that Pokemon Go will not turn like every game on the planet that has millions and millions of ads playing every millisecond.

How do you like the idea of Niantic implementing video ads into Pokemon Go? Let’s discuss this in the comments below.
