Elon Musk is voting Elden Ring for Game of the Year

Whenever it comes to The Game Awards and the Game of the Year category, we often see celebrities pick their choice publicly. This time, we witnessed the famous entrepreneur and richest man in the world, Elon Musk, pick a favorite. In a response tweet, Elon Musk revealed his Game of the Year pick for 2022, and that is Elden Ring.

After struggling through the deepest caves in battles against formidable enemies, Elon Musk emerged victorious once again. God-tier gaming mastermind and “high-sense large caliber player” shares opinions on GOTY for 2022. Much wow!

In a response tweet to WLOP saying, “Go Elden Ring, Game of the year please,” Elon Musk responded with “Definitely.” It seems that Elon Musk is without doubts when it comes to the Game of the Year choice, while God of War Ragnarok fans didn’t miss the chance to oppose his statement. Fun times, I must say.

Furthermore, Elon Musk claimed that he finished Elden Ring, despite the challenging scenarios and difficulties he encountered. One of them was Malenia, Blade Of Miquella, which battle can be quite tiring. According to him, the “battle was next-level intense“.

The Game Awards 2022 event will take place on December 8. The nominees for the Game of the Year category have been revealed yesterday, and they are as follows:

  • A Plague Tale: Requiem (Asobo Studio / Focus Entertainment)
  • Elden Ring (FromSoftware / Bandai Namco Entertainment)
  • God of War Ragnarok (Santa Monica Studio / Sony Interactive Entertainment)
  • Horizon Forbidden West (Guerrilla Games / Sony Interactive Entertainment)
  • STRAY (BlueTwelve Studio / Annapurna Interactive)

Is it going to be a tight run between God of War Ragnarok and Elden Ring? There’s quite a time until December 8, so it will be fun to follow all the turmoil caused by Elon Musk’s statement. I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
