Escape From Tarkov’s Hideout Gym is coming soon

First look at the GYM.

We already know that Escape From Tarkov is getting a Gym alongside new hideout areas. This feature will arrive in addition to the already existing Hideout, where players will be able to do various physical activities and strengthen their characters without participating in a live raid. Well, we can finally see how it looks now, as Battlestate Games shared its first glance within a video.

Yesterday, the developer revealed a video on Twitter, recruiting the fans of the shooter to contribute to a faster release of the Gym feature by posting a workout video of themselves. The only condition is to be wearing Escape From Tarkov apparel while doing the workout. The more tweets with the #PumpLikeTagilla hashtag, the faster the Gym hideout will release.

The upcoming Gym component will be a Hideout addition that will most definitely be introduced with the next wipe. The wipe is just around the corner and should occur in December. Below you can find the tweet by Battlestate Games.

Previously, the COO of BSG, Nikita Buyanov, had given a statement regarding the Gym feature. Thankfully, we still have the clip.

Years ago, players could just stack backpacks and rigs in their secure container and abuse them until they got maximum strength and endurance, as well as other skills, upgraded. That’s how far Escape From Tarkov’s advanced from back then. It’s good to see the game advancing forward, and there is a lot in store coming with the next wipe. Streets of Tarkov and Gym sounds like a perfect combo for the next huge major update installment.
