Nvidia releases driver hotfix to address issues in Modern Warfare 2

If you haven’t been aware, Nvidia has released a driver update that is supposed to fix known Modern Warfare 2 issues. The driver hotfix is titled 526.61, and as acknowledged, it addresses a couple of known issues.

Keep in mind that this hotfix must be downloaded and installed manually, as it is not reported through Nvidia’s GeForce Experience. For the download link and details, check below:

Nvidia GeForce Hotfix 526.61

GeForce hotfix display driver version 526.61 is based on our latest Game Ready Driver (526.47).

This hotfix addresses the following issues:

  • [Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II] Flashing corruption can be seen randomly while playing the game. [3829010]
  • VTube Studio may crash to black screen [3838158]
  • GPU stuck in P0 state after exiting certain games. [3846389]
