Trainers, the Astral Eclipse is underway and new Field Research tasks and rewards are now available in Pokemon Go.
The Astral Eclipse is a new event introduced in Pokemon Go that runs from November 23, 2022, at 10 AM to November 28, 2022, at 8 PM local time. The Astral Eclipse brings two new Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Go, Solgaleo and Lunala. You must evolve Cosmoem and use 100 Cosmog Candy to get Solgaleo or Lunala. Now, the interesting part is that if you want to get Solgaleo, you must evolve Cosmoem during the day, and if you want to get Lunala, you must evolve Cosmoem during the night.

- Catch 5 Psychic type Pokemon: Staryu
- Catch 5 Staryu: 1000 Stardust
Make sure to collect as much as Stardust as you can, as one of the tasks for completing the Season-long Special Research A Cosmic Companion requires earning 10,000 Stardust.
