Trainers, Seasons are periods of time that feature new events, Pokémon debuts, and surprises that all follow a certain theme. Every three months Pokemon Go players have a chance to participate in different Seasons and now it’s time for the new Mythical Wishes Season.
Each Season of Pokemon Go lasts for three months. Each Season brings major changes and offers different features, bonuses, Pokemon debuts, new Shiny forms, and a lot of new cool stuff. So far we had a chance to participate in eight different Seasons in Pokemon Go.

- Season of Legends March 1, 2021, to June 1, 2021
- Season of Discovery June 1, 2021, to September 1, 2021

- Season of Heritage December 1, 2021, to March 1, 2022
- Season of Alola March 1, 2022, to June 1, 2022
- Season of Go June 1, 2022, to September 1, 2022
- Season of Light September 1, 2022, to December 1, 2022
As you can see from the list above, the current Season, Season of Light is coming to an end, and we have some details about the next Season.
The new Season is called Mythical Wishes Season and according to the world’s greatest miners, this Season might bring Hoenn Pokemon and Jirachi. As you all know, Jirachi is also known as the Wish Pokemon and it’s safe to assume that Jirachi may be in the spotlight next season.
