Trainers, Niantic and Pokemon Go announced the details about the upcoming Pokemon Go Tour Hoenn event, and everything is a total mess. Players don’t know if the Global event will be free or not, and it feels like they need to make things more clear.
The Pokemon Go Tour Hoenn event has two parts, one is the in-person Pokemon Go tour Hoenn in Las Vegas, which one must pay to attend, and the other one is the Pokemon Go Tour Hoenn Global event. Now, they didn’t make it clear if the Global event will be free or not, and the only thing that players have to pay to get is the Masterwork Research: Wish Granted featuring Jirachi and shiny Jirachi.
To make things clear, according to a well know Pokemon Go streamer, the Pokemon Go Tour Hoenn Global experience is free, but there will be a ticketed component. This is odd because Niantic should have mentioned this in the Pokemon Go tour Hoenn official announcement and not to confuse the players’ base.
We are not sure if the Jirachi Masterwork Research Wish Granted is the mentioned “ticketed component,” or if they are planning to add something else.
There are no details about this “ticketed component,” and we expect to find out more soon.
